What is Female Infertility?
The female reproductive system has a complex structure. In contrast to the millions of sperm in the semen during each sexual intercourse in the male reproductive system, ovulation in the female reproductive system, i.e. egg production, produces only one egg in an average reproductive cycle of 28 days. There are hormones responsible for the production of this egg. The egg is produced in a healthy way under the influence of hormones and released into the fallopian tube. During sexual intercourse, one of the sperm coming into the fallopian tube fertilises the egg. When this fertilised structure is attached to the uterus, which thickens for pregnancy in a healthy way, a healthy pregnancy begins.
